This topic should be of interest to all athletes, coaches and parents involved in ringette because we all know someone who has suffered a concussion playing sports and it seems to becoming more common in ringette players.

Bronze Medal Win!Four of the PCRA girls played on the Sud Ouest team in les Jeux du Québec in Valleyfield in the Junior A division. From the Benjamin A team, Marie-Eve Wand and Kaitlyn Cvejic and from the Junior A team Rachel DeLery and Natasha Guerriero won the bronze medal over the Côte-Nord team. It was an incredible experience for those girls who lived mini-Olympics atmosphere.
Mosquito Panthers – U8 ChampionsWith a decisive 5-1 victory, the mosquito (U8) Panthers beat Chûtes-Chaudière to take the annual Trois-Rivières Pool 1 Elite Division championship banner, defending the title that the PCRA first won in 2010. The win completed a gold-medal sweep for the Panthers, with victories over Repentigny and Ste-Marie-de-Beauce in the Laval and the Beaconsfield-Kirkland Tournament championship finals. The roster includes: Holly Bastien, Alessa Rae Orsini, Cordelia Jamieson, Alissa McLean, Anna Waldie, Annie Gagnon, Megan Downey-Pearce, Carolyn Boileau, Anika Henderson, Alexia Brausewetter-Day, Kaitlyn Tyndall, Janelle Habay and Maeve MacRury; Head Coach – Sharon Tait.

YOUR LOCAL RINGETTE ASSOCIATION
Program Highlights:
- Skating instruction with a qualified instructor is included free of charge on registration for beginners (4 to 7 years old)
- Our ringette season (games, practices and tournaments) runs from September to early April
- The teams are based on the abilities of the players with levels ranging from participation (local) through elite (intercity)
- Power skating sessions are available with ringette instructors at a reasonable cost, for Novice, Petite and Tween players
- Our annual Tournament will be held from December 2 to December 4 for all levels
